BURN-IN

 

Entire Burn-In Boards can be processed to restore socket contacts, or the sockets can be processed individually.

 


 

TEST
 

Test contactors and sockets often lose electrical functionality long before the connector system has reached its mechanical limit. Test signals can be returned to new performance levels with Nu Signal’s advanced restoration process.
The process is not limited to coarse pitch products. Sub 0.50mm pitch arrays are easily processed. Costly Pogo Pins can be reconditioned, instead of replaced.

LOGIC/PROGRAMMING (PLD, MEMORY)

Sockets, Modules and Adapters used in programming fail primarily  as a result of solder contamination. Contact surfaces become oxidized, resulting in high reject rates. The Nu Signal process returns Yield to 100%.

HAST (Highly Accelerated Temperature/Humidity Stress Test)

Sockets are severely contaminated during HAST.  Sockets can be restored for significantly less than replacement cost.  Restoration also applies to Temperature Humidity Bias (THB).
